Safety First
On a motorcycle you're more exposed than in a car. As soon as something feels wrong, signal and get off the road completely if possible. Put the bike on its side stand on firm, level ground, turn on your hazards if your bike has them, and stand well away from traffic, behind a barrier if there is one.
Common Motorcycle Problems
- Dead battery. Motorcycle batteries are small and drain quickly, especially after storage. A boost may get you home.
- Flat tire. Most bikes don't carry a spare, so a flat often means a tow.
- Out of fuel. Small tanks run dry quickly.
- Mechanical or electrical failure. Chains, clutch cables, and wiring issues usually need a shop.
Why Motorcycles Need Proper Towing
Strapping a bike down the wrong way can bend the forks, scratch the tank and fairings, or let the bike tip over in transit. Our motorcycle towing uses wheel chocks and soft tie-downs attached at proper points, so the bike stays upright and protected.
If You've Dropped the Bike
If anyone is hurt, call 911 first. Don't ride a bike after a drop until the brakes, controls, and steering have been checked.
