Do I need to be a CAA member to use your service?

Our Services

What roadside services do you offer?

Battery boosts, battery replacement, lockouts, fuel delivery, flat tire service, motorcycle towing, on-the-spot EV charging, and winch outs.

Can you replace my battery where my car is parked?

Yes. We test your battery and charging system, and if the battery needs replacing we install a new one on site and take the old one for recycling.

Do you charge electric vehicles?

Yes. Our mobile EV charging adds enough range to get you to the nearest charger or home. Tell us your make and model when you call.

Do you tow motorcycles?

Yes. We tow cruisers, sport bikes, touring bikes, and scooters using wheel chocks and soft tie-downs that protect the bike.

Can you get my car out of a snowbank or ditch?

Yes. Our winch-out service pulls vehicles out of snow, mud, and ditches using proper recovery points.

Pricing & Payment

How much does roadside assistance cost?

It depends on the service, your vehicle, and your location. We give you an up-front quote on the phone before we dispatch, so there are no surprises.

Is service covered for CAA members?

CAA members should check their membership level for what's included. Have your membership number ready when you call.

Does my insurance cover roadside assistance?

Many auto insurance policies and credit cards include some roadside coverage. Check your policy. We can provide a receipt for reimbursement.

Do you charge extra on weekends?

We'll always quote you up front before any work starts, whatever the day.

Emergencies & Breakdowns

What should I do if I break down on the 401 or another highway?

Move as far onto the right shoulder as you can, turn on your hazards, and stay inside with your seatbelt on. Call (647) 370-2463 with the highway, direction, and nearest exit. If you're in a live lane or anyone is hurt, call 911 first.

I'm locked out. Should I try to get in myself?

No. Coat hangers, slim jims, and prying can damage wiring, weather stripping, and paint. Our professional tools open most vehicles in minutes without damage.

My battery is dead. Will you come boost it?

Yes, every day from 7am to 11pm, at home, work, a parking garage, or the roadside. If the battery won't hold a charge, we can install a new one on the spot.

I ran out of gas. Should I walk to a station?

No. Walking along a highway or busy road is dangerous. Stay with your vehicle and we'll bring fuel to you.

My car is stuck in snow. What should I do?

Stop spinning the wheels, which digs you in deeper. Make sure your exhaust pipe is clear of snow if the engine is running, then call us for a winch out.

What to Expect

What information should I have ready when I call?

Your exact location, what's wrong, your vehicle's year, make, and model, and your CAA membership number if you have one.

How will I recognize your vehicle?

Our white vans and trucks are marked with the Roadsides Finest name and a blue and red stripe.

Do I need to be with my vehicle?

It's best if you are, especially for lockouts and boosts. If you can't be, give us clear instructions when you call.

Can you come to an underground condo or office garage?

Yes. Let us know the building address, parking level, spot number, and how we get in.

Tips & Advice

Should I save your number now?

Yes. When you're stuck, you don't want to be searching from the side of the road. Save (647) 370-2463 in your contacts.

How can I avoid a dead battery in winter?

Have your battery tested in the fall, especially if it's over 3 years old, take longer drives occasionally, and park in a garage when you can.

What should I keep in my car for winter?

A blanket, gloves, phone charger, snow brush and scraper, small shovel, traction aid like sand, flashlight, washer fluid, water, and snacks.

How can I get more range from my EV in the cold?

Precondition the cabin while plugged in, use seat heaters instead of cabin heat, slow down on the highway, and charge earlier than you would in summer.
